As the F-35 fighter jets are set to arrive in Madison this spring, some activists have been loudly opposed to their beddown. Steven Klafka, Jane H. Kavalosk, and Dr. Paula Rogge from Safe Skies Clean Water WI are some of those activists. They join us on the show to talk about their work and opposition to the F-35 Fighter Jets.
Safe Skies Clean Water’s mission is to stop the harm that the basing of F-35 fighter jets at Truax Field, Madison will inflict and to stop the negligent pollution of our waters and force the clean-up of existing contamination of the water supply emanating from the base.
The next Safe Skies Clean Water event is the 20th Catholic Worker Midwest Faith and Resistance Gathering on March 24 through March 27 at Madison Christian Community (7118 Old Sauk Rd, Madison, WI 53717).
