Younger men 16-25yrs old are some of the biggest thieves on the planet. But it doesn't have to be this way!

  • They do the minimum and look for the maximum reward
  • They take what they haven't earned
  • They consume more than they put in
  • They dismantle what others have built
  • Often seeking the easy route
  • Reaping what others have sewn

Men are made to take dominion. The problem is? Too many young men today try to take what they haven’t earned. They want their father’s throne without fighting their own battles.

What is Dominion?

  • Dominion = rule, authority, leadership—but earned, not given.
  • Genesis 1:28 : "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion..." (ESV)
  • God designed men to take dominion, but that requires building, not stealing.

Why Does This Matter?

  • If you try to take dominion before you’re ready, you destroy yourself (and others).
  • Men who don’t take dominion fall into:
    • Entitlement – Expecting what they haven’t earned.
    • Blame – Resenting their fathers instead of growing from their example.
    • Weakness – Because they never develop the resilience needed to rule.

MARCHING ORDERS for fathers:

  • What’s one thing you can do this week to prepare your son for dominion?
  • Where might you be protecting him too much instead of preparing him?

MARCHING ORDERS FOR SONS/YOUNG MEN

Challenge:
"This week, stop looking at what your father, boss, or mentor has—and start building your own. Choose one area to develop dominion: finances, fitness, leadership, skill. Then, do something to grow it.”
