In this interview I speak with Dr Liz Evans, a medical doctor, who trained at Cambridge and Imperial College London and has gone on to practice complimentary medicine.

She is the co-founder and Chair of the UK Medical Freedom Alliance, a group of healthcare professionals, scientists and lawyers, the leading UK voice on medical ethics

We discuss what we mean when we use the term Ethics? And question where does ethics fit in our understanding of the duty of care of doctors and lawyers and other professionals?

Also where does Ethics sit as a moral compass for decision making?

Dr Liz Evans Bio:

· Training/degrees - Medical Sciences and Physiology MA from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge; Clinical Medicine MBBS at Imperial College, London.

· Retired doctor - practised as a doctor for a few years (GP Registrar and SHO level) then deregistered and moved into complementary medicine. For last 12 years have had a part-time private practice seeing patients, using a holistic nutritional and energy medicine approach.

· Co-founder and CEO of the UK Medical Freedom Alliance - set up in October 2020. We are a group of healthcare professionals, scientists and lawyers, campaigning for an individual’s right to informed consent, bodily autonomy and medical choice to be upheld in all circumstances. · Front-facing member of HART since inception. https://www.hartgroup.org

· Member of Children’s Covid Vaccine Advisory Council (CCVAC) led by Dr Ros Jones. CCVAC have written numerous letters since May 2021 (to MHRA, JCVI and now the Prime Minister) raising serious concerns about administration of Covid vaccines to healthy children.

· CHD Europe Advisory board member since March 2021
