As we continue our series on PSALMS OF PERSEVERANCE, we come to Psalm 32, a psalm of David that confronts the problem of silence about sin. But the alternative (making a clean breast of things through clear confession) brings both the comfort of Christ and the clarity of God’s holy counsel into our lives. Through our confession, God thus equips us all the more to persevere in purity even as He delivers us out of the folly of stubbornly sustaining our sin.
