Rachel Daniels is a Specialist Family Violence Advisor with Ballarat Community Health, known for her expertise in substance use exploitation and parenting in the context of family violence, bringing a regional lens to systems change. AFL Grand Final Day and Domestic Violence Part 2Content warning: as aboveIn the second part of Inez’s interview with Meg Bagnall, Rachel Daniels and Christine du Toit, they discuss what safety planning looks like at all levels, from the person perpetrating the violence, the people experiencing the violence, friends and family, to the wider community. They speak on a range of intervention strategies and importantly, not placing the sole responsibility on the victims of violence to deal with this alone. ‘Pictures of You’ with Tony BirchMulti-award winning author Tony Birch joined us in the studio to discuss the upcoming launch of Pictures of You, a selection of the best of his short fiction works over the past two decades.
