Damn Sophia, that write in really hit home with me. I also suffer from HS and have had trouble with intimacy as well. In this age of social media we tend to forget we're all human and harbor imperfections. Like Stikki said, you sound awesome. Show someone how awesome you are and when the moment comes for a deeper connection, they'll be understanding and accepting. A lot of your hesitation and fear had been built up by YOU. Beauty goes much further than skin deep. Don't let fear keep you from experiencing life. Good luck hun!!

Joe Sheppard Omg it's you! Hey dude I felt ur write in. Social anxiety and mental health issues can destroy your entire outlook on life. I'm extremely introverted and could happily go days without talking. You're still very young (I'm 28) and figuring yourself out. Also, don't be afraid or feel ashamed to seek out counseling. Depending on where you are, there are sliding scale therapists that you can see for as little as $15 a session. Sometimes just having a logical unbiased mind to bounce your life off of can help give a clearer perspective. Also, I know it sounds really basic, but walking. Moving. Exercise can really help get your mind off all the shit and releases endorphins in your body that can help you more easily regulate emotion and thoughts. Also, breathing techniques are a great natural antianxiety. When you're just focusing on your breath and counting it's hard to think about much else. Check out the 4-7-8 technique. *Just a note. Besides from making sure I get plenty of sleep, after going plant based I noticed my mood improved greatly. They say a majority of our serotonin is made in our gut. Can't hurt to try. I hope this gets to you and can maybe help. Good luck Joe 💛
