Our guest is an amazing musician and knows London inside out as he’s one of the few people who actually grew up within the close-knit italian community of Soho in London.
He recorded a song as a child at the world famous Abbey Road studios where the beatles recorded and that song was listened to by millions of people worldwide.
He's toured the world with bands and written breathtakingly beautiful albums and soundtracks including one which was part of a film by a director who's films have won Oscars and as you'll find out it was a film that I was in.
He's performed with world class recording artists including Grace Jones, Sir Bryn Terfil and musicians from bands including Roxy music and he won the BBC album of the year award with an acclaimed jazz septet and in addition to all of this he's one of the world's most respected accordion players.
