In this interview, host Krish Kandiah speaks to Peter Muthui about his experience of growing up in an orphanage in Kenya after the tragic loss of his parents when he was a young boy. In this hope-filled conversation, Peter and Krish talk about the too-often poor outcomes of children who grow up in orphanages and how we must have higher aspirations for them – change can happen and those who say it cannot be done should not stop those who say it can. Dr Krish Kandiah, host and friend of the Homecoming project, is a government advisor in child welfare, an author, theologian, and activist based in the UK. Krish and his wife Miriam have six children through birth, adoption, and fostering.
