Description
Asian airlines face software issue on Airbus A320 jets, leading to widespread recall and travel disruptions. The problem affects over half of Airbuss global A320 family fleet, with three hundred and fifty operators globally impacted. Regulators worldwide instruct airlines to fix the issue before planes can fly again. In India, three hundred and thirty-eight Airbus aircraft are affected, with IndiGo and Air India completing the reset on a significant number of their affected planes. Taiwans Civil Aviation Administration also instructs airlines to conduct inspections and maintenance. Japans ANA Holdings cancels flights and warns of more disruptions. Other airlines, including Jetstar, Asiana Airlines, Korean Air, and American Airlines, are also working to address the recall.
