Description
Ali Baba, a poor woodcutter, discovers a secret cave used by forty thieves, opened by the magic words "Open Sesame." He takes some treasure, but his greedy brother Kassim, upon learning the secret, tries to take more but forgets the password and is killed by the thieves. Ali Baba retrieves his brother's body and, with the help of the clever maid Morgiana, covers up the murder. The thieves, realizing someone else knows their secret, try various schemes to kill Ali Baba, but Morgiana thwarts them each time, ultimately killing the thieves' leader. As a reward for her loyalty and bravery, Ali Baba frees Morgiana and she marries his son, and the secret of the cave is passed down, bringing prosperity to Ali Baba's family.
