Description

In the early morning hours of September 15, 2019, then-14-year-old Alicia Navarro gathered her laptop and her phone, wrote out a short note for her mom, and headed for the backyard of her family home. Once there, she stacked some chairs and climbed over the first wall around her home, then stacked a pile of leftover bricks to climb the outer wall. Alicia made it over the barriers designed to protect her family’s home and vanished into the darkness that morning. She has not been seen since.

If you have any information about the disappearance of Alicia Navarro, you are urged to call the Glendale Police Department at 623-930-3000. You may also contact the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-THE-LOST.

You can follow Alicia's case on Facebook at: Finding Alicia.

Has there been any tracking of the cellphone? I didn't hear them mention it.

This is a very sad story and I feel for her family. The Internet is a double edged sword; it opens up a whole new information source of information. Unfortunately there will always be people that figure out a way to use it for criminal purposes. Predators are very resourceful to find ways to attract vulnerable victims.

I live in Arizona and have never heard about this missing child. this poor mom. shame on anyone that said its her fault. I too have children with autism. my oldest is non verbal and my youngest is hi functioning. They both are amazing on the computer. my youngest can do things I didnt know were possible. it doesnt matter what I do to try to control what he is doing on the computer he can get around it. I will look for her daughter everytime I'm in the community now. this is not her moms fault. how terrified her mom must be. I will keep this family in my prayers.
