Feels like a bunch of people are going to commit suicide for listening to this.

Another wonderful podcast by Wondery. Good job condensing this sordid story into easy-to-follow episodes. I'll keep subscribed so I can get any updates on this case. I hope they catch the Maxwell lady! Although, it might be in the interest of many powerful men that she remains well hidden...

This a great podcast. It gave a great example how wealth can be use to enable by manipulative and dangerous people like Jeffery Epstein however his continued criminal behavior was further enabled by those who took his money. Epstein used his wealth to obfuscate and escape justice because money often equals the power to insulate. I'm not surprised that Epstein killed himself. This is a man who was accustomed to maneuvering through a opulent world with few boundaries. Cosent of others isn't recognized. The word "no" is foreign to people like him. Any offense or assault can be fixed by writing a check. People are objects for entertainment and disposable. His first "prison" sentence was more of a minor inconvenience. He was able to move and do as he chose. He didn't even follow through with parole. So when he discovered there wouldn't be another Alex Acosta to save him from serving in a dismal place like jail he stayed he decided to take justice i in his own hands. The signs were there that he was a unrepentant narcissist: leaving incriminating photos, date books, journals, and computer drives in plain sight. He NEVER thought he'd have to serve a day in jail. Plus, the parade of lawyers probably told him as much. It's a shame we'll never know the true extent of his depravities and number of victims because he had the last word by his death.

But can’t the dirt still be found? Even with him dead? He didn’t take flight logs with him. He didn’t take drs records with him. The list goes on. My hope is that the law continues the search and pursues justice, even with him dead.

Hopefully there is a follow up episode about the findings of strangulation by homicide - if it is even legitimately investigated further.

Epstein had so much information on the billionaires of the world that calling his death a suicide is laughable. Why is this podcast towing the line? Who funds Wondery?
