a former president of the United States is no different than any other human being. He's no different than any other citizen of the United States. if I could go to jail for the same crimes he is being charged with, he should go to the jail for his crimes. I don't understand all of this attention placed on him as if he's some god or is above the law. Nixon would have been charged if Ford would have had the guts to do it. but he chose not to, fearing that the country would become unraveled if he did. now all of these many years later we see what a great mistake that was. Nixon should have been jailed for his crimes. then we wouldn't have all of this talk about whether or not a former president should be jailed for crimes! if Trump Does not have to pay for his crimes. then every person in prison right now for the same crimes should be released!
