She fled to Canada, her home country, and awaited a decision on extradition. In July 2002, Shirley gave birth to Andrew’s son, Zachary Andrew Turner. Andrew’s parents, Kate and David Bagby moved to Canada and fought for custody of Zachary and justice for Andrew. Every indication is that Canada's justice system is eons behind the rest of the world. It's unsurprising to hear that they've bungled yet another case resulting in more death and devastation. How the judges in these cases have not seen punishment is beyond me.
