A Violent Sky

On February 19th, German electronic artist Apparat will release his new album Krieg und Frieden (Music for Theatre) — an album based on Sebastian Hartmann’s theater production of Tolstoy’s War and Peace and a follow up to the 2011 album The Devils Walk. The song “A Violent Sky” is incredibly beautiful, featuring airy and droning synths, a magical piano loop, brushed snare and heartfelt vocals.
