Hr: Jesen je stigla u Zagreb.
En: Autumn has arrived in Zagreb.

Hr: Lišće je šuštalo ispod nogu učenika u školskom dvorištu.
En: Leaves rustled under the feet of students in the school yard.

Hr: Luka i Ivana su se šetali stazom prema glavnoj zgradi internata.
En: Luka and Ivana were walking the path toward the main building of the boarding school.

Hr: Stari kameni zidovi bili su prekriveni zlatnim i crvenim lišćem.
En: The old stone walls were covered with golden and red leaves.

Hr: Luka je gledao sestru.
En: Luka watched his sister.

Hr: Ivana je bila mlađa, vesela i neodgovorna, ali uvijek nasmijana.
En: Ivana was younger, cheerful, and irresponsible, but always smiling.
