BEARS POSTGAME: Bears Thanksgiving comeback falls short with ANOTHER frustrating finish | CHGO Bears
Update: 2024-11-28
Description
The Chicago Bears woke up a bit too late from a Thanksgiving nap on a holiday loss to the Detroit Lions on Thursday. Matt Eberflus' team trailed 16-0 at halftime before Keenan Allen found the end zone to open the second half. On that play, Caleb Williams broke a pair of records. He set the NFL rookie record for most consecutive passes without an interception (212 passes). He also set the Bears rookie record with his 12th TD pass of the season. Later, it was another Caleb to Keenan connection for a score. The Bears had a chance to win or tie in the 4th but failed to use a timeout or complete a play in time.
