Baking their way to success with Jerome Buzenet
By profession Jerome is a corporate lawyer in Vietnam. But during weekends, he swapped his briefcase for the apron and rolling pin to pursue his passion for baking. Now he is a born owner of Café Tartine Saïgon, a café-bakery focusing on sourdough.
At the age of 11 he was working on weekends and on school holidays at a small mountain village in the south of France at the border with Italy. Since then he occasionally home baked bread until he got into the magic world of sourdough about 3 years ago. He started out baking sourdough breads for family, friends and neighbors at night and on the weekends from his condo in Saigon before venturing into his first business venture.
Jerome continues working on developing new bread products and other goodies on the weekend after his busy weeks in his lawyer’s job.
