Next up on Bang Le' Dex : : Sean Ocean started his DJ Career in 1997 DJing mostly undergrounds, raves and renegades.. shortly thereafter, he founded DEFSF as a sound company in 2001 and as a promotional crew with a focus on promoting West Coast techno artists in 2003. After DJing for nearly 20 years, Sean refocused his efforts and started a new chapter as a new promising live PA in 2014, and now in a new decade full of hope, Sean Ocean looks to release under his own name as a freshman producer in the SF Bay Area techno scene.

Not limited to just the DJ world, as a writer for Dirty Epic Ocean hopes to continue to shed light on quality Techno music that challenges the definition of what Techno music is as well as retain a continuity of ideas that shaped the genre’s past. Through writing, Sean wants to help DJs become ambassadors to the artists we all admire well into the future. One of the biggest epiphanies he had while being apart of the Dirty Epic review team was the ability to get really close to the music each week, helping him to develop a keen ear and leading him to a greater appreciation and enjoyment of Techno and music as a whole.
