Baseball in Grand Junction is no more - What's happening with the sport professionally in the state of Colorado?
Description
First the Northern Colorado Owlz resigned and now the Grand Junction Jackalopes - formerly the GJ Rockies - are relocating for the 2026 Pioneer Baseball League season. Could the Colorado Rockies be somewhat responsible for this? And outside of Denver, where else can you watch pro ball in the Centennial State?
Bud Black spoke for the first time since being fired in May. Is he considering a return to the coaching? Could he have a resurgence like Clint Hurdle, but for another franchise?
Plus, Colorado travels to San Diego in hope of scoring their first run at Petco Park in over a year, Drew Pomeranz stays alive and we learn a little about Larry Bearneath.
