Update: 2023-11-09
Description
Isaiah Tapusoa grew up in a 4 bedroom home shared with 25 of his family members; a time he recalls fondly. As a young child, Isaiah was often the teacher’s favorite and had many friends but in the 5th grade, one bad decision changed everything and for the rest of his school years, he was labeled as a druggy and a troublemaker. Although he continued down bad roads, his basketball talent made him a star player with opportunities from multiple universities, which he ultimately traded for a life of drugs and time in prison. Listen as he describes his internal fight of balancing addiction and fatherhood. Join us as we explore how the power or love and an incredible skill for basketball turned Isaiah's life around, in turn blessing so many lives for years to come.

“What was coming off meth like?” “It was hard man, that was one of the hardest battles I’ve ever had in my life and I relapsed maybe 3, 4 times after that, and for me that was one of the hardest battles to overcome.
