In this weeks NFL power rankings update, the Chicago Bears impressive eight and three record is put into perspective as seven of their wins are against teams with a .500 record or worse. Their best victory, a narrow three-point win over the Steelers, was secured when the Steelers were without their starting quarterback. The Bears close games, including wins against some of the leagues worst teams, contribute to their negative three point differential and twenty-second ranking in DVOA. Meanwhile, the Tennessee Titans and Las Vegas Raiders show signs of improvement, despite their poor records, with the Titans narrowly losing their last three games and the Raiders firing their offensive coordinator and senior offensive assistant. The New Orleans Saints, also with a poor record, suffered a disappointing loss after their bye week, reinforcing their status as a bad team this season.
