Beckie left school at 16 with no idea where life might take her and started out working in childcare. Then, during a trip to Toronto, Canada, a chance meeting with a firefighter completely changed her outlook and helped her discover her true calling: firefighting. Now, she’s sharing her story and some brilliant advice for anyone thinking about following the same path.
