Having worked at an International Bank in The Netherlands for 12 years and the last 6 of those years as a private banker, Ferrah Simsek had great financial knowledge when she came across the crypto market in 2016.

Having learnt how to trade at the bank she worked at and with a network of clients who valued her work and connection, Ferrah became more like a mentor to her clients which lead her to question if she could exceed her current role. 

Combined with the desire to spend more time with her children and gain back freedom, Ferrah took a risk and left her role at the bank in order to pursue a new business venture. She built an international shipping company, employing over 30 people in just 6 months and then delved into real estate opportunities where she began her portfolio in Dubai and Turkey.

Fast forward to 2020 and the crypto hype began with mainstream media, tuning in on the money making industry. Having been trading for the last 4 years and constantly talking about crypto on her socials, Ferrah received lots of questions on her knowledge on crypto as she became a guru for those looking to invest. 

As a way to share her knowledge and build a community, Ferrah set up DC Academy to host 1–1 coaching and create a space for likeminded individuals with an interest in crypto and has since received awards for the Best Stock Change Expert of the year from Gossip Media Group, Turkey.
