Skymet is India's first private weather forecasting company. Always fascinated with weather even as a 17 year old and a professional journalist. Jatin launched Skymet in 2003 with the intention of providing reliable and accessible weather forecasts. Skymet’s greatest contribution is perhaps that to a large extent Skymet has solved the Monsoon forecasting problem in India. In addition, Skymet has set up about 400 agricultural sensors that enable farmers to understand their crops at a micro scale and thereby maximize their yield.
