Big Little Lies 206 “The Bad Mother”: Court is Like JeopardyDescription
Big Little Lies’ penultimate episode brought us inside the courtroom as Celeste takes the stand. Celeste’s time on the stand is brutal and riddled with legal missteps, but it’s necessary to show the abuse survivors suffer at the hands of the system. After his behavior this week we disembark the Corey train and hope that Jane will find continued healing on her own. Bonnie confesses to her mom and we’re emotional wrecks, it’s just a shame the show doesn’t know how to best use her character.
But before we get into all that, we’d me remiss not to discuss the behind-the-scenes scandal that broke late last week.
