Description

A social worker driving a 15-year-old foster child from Feather County through Lassen National Park encountered an unexpected and surreal event. As they navigated the treacherous mountain pass, the teen requested to play her music, a brief moment of normalcy overshadowed by the fading light and dangerous curves. Suddenly, a massive, jet-black creature—later identified as a Bigfoot—emerged onto the road, forcing the social worker to slam on the brakes and swerve, narrowly avoiding both the beast and a deadly drop. The car skidded to a stop, tires screeching and the air thick with the smell of burning rubber, while a Chevy pickup behind them nearly collided. After the creature vanished into the trees, both the stunned social worker and the profanity-dropping teen, along with the pickup driver, were left questioning reality as they silently continued the journey back to her foster home.
