Despite polls showing the majority of evangelicals still choosing former President Donald Trump over Vice President Harris, a new group called Evangelicals for Harris — an organization trying to buck this trend — has emerged.
And among those supporting this cohort is Jerushah Duford, whose mother Virginia "Gigi" Graham Tchividjian is the late Rev. Billy Graham's oldest daughter. As The Christian Post's Jon Brown recently wrote, Duford spoke at a recent Evangelicals for Harris event about her support for the Democratic candidate.
"Voting Kamala, for me, is so much greater than policies," she said. "It's a vote against another four years of faith leaders justifying the actions of a man who destroys the message Jesus came to spread, and that is why I get involved in politics."
