Harry, Ron, and Hermione return to Hogsmeade, are pursued by Death Eaters, and are rescued by Aberforth Dumbledore. He advises them to give up their quest, and explains why he doesn’t blindly trust his late brother’s judgement by telling them the true story of the life and death of Ariana Dumbledore, their younger sister.
