The Celtics (57-20) avoided losing their 2nd in a row at home for the 1st time this season with their 123-103 win over the Phoenix Suns at TD Garden Friday night. The Celtics established a new NBA record (see below) in the victory. The Celtics had 6 in Double Figures.  The Celtics are now 18-2 this season after a loss.

NBA Record: The Celtics broke the Golden State Warriors NBA record (1,363 Made 3's 2022-23 Season) for most 3's in a single season in the 2nd Quarter. Payton Pritchard hit the Celtics' 8th 3-Pointer of the game in the 2nd Quarter and that broke the record.

Scoring Leaders: Jaylen Brown (10-for-16 & 3-for-4 on 3's) led the Celtics with 31 Points. It's his 9th game this season with 30 or more. Jayson Tatum had 23 Points, 8 Rebounds, and 8 Assists.  Derrick White had 12 Points, 9 Rebounds & 7 Assists. Luke Kornet scored 12 and Payton Pritchard had 10 off the Bench.

1st-Half Nuggets: The Celtics closed the 1st-Quarter on an 8-0 run and led 31-22 after the 1st 12 Minutes. Boston led by 20 in the 2nd Quarter and ended up leading by 13 at Halftime.  Jaylen Brown hit 2 3's and scored 17 in the 1st Half. Kristaps Porzingis scored 14 and Jayson Tatum added 12. The Celtics held a 26-10 advantage in Points in the Paint in the 1st Half.  The Suns were held to just 6-for-21 on 3's in the 1st 24 Minutes.

Up Next: The Celtics conclude their 3-Game Homestand on Sunday when they host the Washington Wizards. After Sunday, the Celtics will have 4 more games left in the Regular Season. The Celtics play back-to-back nights against the Knicks and Magic Tuesday and Wednesday. Final 2 games of the regular season are at home, and both come against the Charlotte Hornets.
