Description

There’s a recently added CPT® code for personal protective equipment (PPE). But there’s a corresponding catch: who pays and who doesn’t, and what’s the best practice for handling the new normal in physician practices? Could the new code, 99072, although a payable service by Medicare, as well as commercial payers, wind up being a patient’s out-of-pocket expense?

Reporting our lead story during the next live edition of Talk Ten Tuesdays will be nationally recognized professional coder and auditor Terry Fletcher.

Also on tap for the broadcast:

  • News Desk: Timothy Powell, compliance expert and ICD10monitor national correspondent, will anchor the Talk Ten Tuesdays News Desk.
  • Tuesday Focus: Chronic care management (CCM) has taken on new importance in light of the coronavirus pandemic. Continuing his reporting on this topic will be Andrew Dombro, MD, co-founder of Clarity/CCM, LLC.
  • CDI Report: Senior healthcare consultant Cheryl Ericson will return to the broadcast with the Talk Ten Tuesdays CDI report.
  • The Coding Report: Laurie Johnson, senior healthcare consultant for Revenue Cycle Solutions, LLC, will have the latest ICD-10 coding news.
