Kerry Taylor comes back on the Coaching Remotely Podcast to explain the importance of warming up before physical activity and football games. Taylor will also run through a warm-up drill with 12 different stretches and routines
Warm-Up Drill - Complete the following stretches/routines in this order:
1. Jog
2. Knee Hugs
3. High-Knees
4. Quad Stretch
5. Butt Kicks
6. Alternating Toe Touch
7. Deions
8. Lateral Lunge
9. Lateral Shuffle
10. Rev. Single Leg Deadlift
11. Back Pedal
12. Jog
- For this warm up: Mark out a distance of 10 - 15 yards
- Start and finish the warm up with a jog of about 25 - 30 yards
- Perform the first movement in one direction followed by the next movement going back to the start
