She provides technical assistance for small businesses by calculating pollution levels, identifying process efficiency and pollution prevention opportunities, determining applicable federal and state environmental regulations, assessing compliance status with those regulations, and conducting voluntary on-site compliance and sustainability audits.
As her position is quite unique, she provides national assistance to other state, federal and local entities, including consulting on air quality, stormwater management, solid and hazardous waste management, waste reporting, as well as on pollution prevention, carbon footprints, and sustainability.
