Cannibal Corpses Alex Webster recounts the bands intentional dive into death metal in 1988, drawing inspiration from early acts like Morbid Angel and Kreator. After a few years to gel, they released their debut album in 1990, defining the genre with relentless energy. In 2022, they toured with Municipal Waste, Full of Hell, and Fulci, with Brandon Ellis filling in for guitarist Rob Barrett.
