FML’ers will know the significance of this date already, but to those who don't, it’s the date that two big things happened for Gabrielle. 1) The date of her first wedding, which, as we know, went down in flames, and 2) the date she left for her first Eat Pray FML trip, which launched her book as well as her healing journey. Gabrielle has been reflecting a lot lately this past week after last week’s emotional episode and received some amazing and encouraging responses not just from friends but from FML’ers too. She’s realized that there is still some fear of a pattern repeating that she saw her mom go through (having her career side-swiped), and that’s been really challenging to reconcile. But with some supportive advice from past guests, Gabrielle emphasizes that we’re not doomed to the same fate as our parents and reminds us that our inner child has the power to break cycles and reach new heights.
