The state of Tennessee had enacted multiple laws that kept craft beer from flourishing. As the industry began to explode, brewmasters had to become lobbyists. Zoning restrictions, tax laws and an extremely conservative view of alcohol had to be changed for craft beer to finally take off in Nashville.
