It's claimed patients from Clare are consistently missing appointments due to a lack of parking at University Hospital Limerick. There are approximately 1,341 spaces on the Dooradoyle campus, while staff can also avail of three dedicated park and ride hubs. HSE MidWest has also confirmed that it's proposal to build a new multi-storey car park at UHL will be subject to funding becoming available. MidWest Hospital Campaign Founder Hilary Tonge says an urgent commitment is needed, particularly due to the ongoing expansion of the site.
