Clemsons new defensive coordinator, Tom Allen, is determined to avenge last seasons loss to South Carolina, where quarterback LaNorris Sellers rushed for two hundred sixty-seven yards and two touchdowns. Allen has been analyzing the game film to find a solution for containing Sellers, who forced eighteen missed tackles in that game. Clemson, currently with six wins and five losses, faces South Carolina, who have four wins and seven losses, on November twenty-ninth. A win for Clemson would prevent their worst regular-season finish since two thousand ten, while a South Carolina victory would avoid their worst regular-season finish under coach Shane Beamer.
