Description

A decision has been made on the long-debated future of Bundoran and Ballyshannon fire stations.

Donegal County Council has approved plans for a new, state-of-the-art fire station at Finner to serve both communities.

The move follows decades of discussion, with both existing stations deemed outdated and unsafe for staff.

Speaking to Ocean FM News, Cllr Michael McMahon says while not everyone will be happy, it’s time to move on and deliver the new facility.
