College Spotlight: Western's 3+2 Accelerated Programs
Description
Check out Maura Brady McMullen's interview with Dr. Melanie Hulbert, the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, Director of the School or Graduate Studies and the Dean of Students for the School of Graduate Studies. Dr. Hulbert shares a really unique opportunity Western Colorado University offers students: 3+2 Programs. These accelerated programs give students the ability to earn a graduate degree with one additional year of study (five total years!) for eight different degree programs (graduate programs include elementary and art education, creative writing, museum management, ecology, high altitude exercise physiology, environmental management and outdoor industry). This is a great way to earn a higher level degree, earn higher wages when you are in the workforce AND save a lot of money while earning your masters degree - what's not to love?
