The ratio of successful female composers to male composers is approximately four to one. I'm not sure why that is because if you listen to the music that they create Trailers,Straight ahead film scores, action, drama, you name it the only difference is creativity and style … which is not gender specific.

AND if a score requires great sensitivity, female composers at least in my opinion win hands-down. 

Elena Maro is an extraordinary composer and her energy and dedication should be an inspiration to anyone considering this field of work and a career as a Music Composer. 

Interestingly enough, Elena Maro is  also married  Marco Antonini  another rising star composer on the Hollywood music scene. This was a delightful interview and as always, there are  some great takeaways.
