Last year we were in Miami smoking through test blends of what eventually became our new CUSTOMS release Dorada.
Dorada was created with the amazing Cuevas family at Casa Cuevas. We worked with Alec and his father Luis to bring you an amazingly complex and balanced medium-bodied Connecticut. For far too long Connecticut-wrapped cigars have developed a bad habit of being boring and one-dimensional. We added a leaf of Pennsylvanian Broadleaf to the filler to bring, what we believed, is the necessary complexity in a good Connecticut cigar.
As cooler Summer mornings and evenings make way for Fall, I hope you all find time for a sunrise or sunset to enjoy Dorada.
