On Creature Comforts, Kevin Farrell is joined by Dr. Troy Majure, veterinarian at the Animal Medical Center in Jackson and Libby Hartfield retired director of the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science.
Since they were founded in 2020, the Banding Coalition of the Americas has pushed our scientific knowledge of bird migration to new heights, and as part of their research, they have been investigating one of the South’s favorite and most iconic frequent flyers, hummingbirds! Emma Rhodes, Director of Conservation and Scientific Research at the BCA joins the show today to discuss hummers, their lives, and their conservation.
