Description

Alex Chilton found stardom at the age of sixteen with “The Letter”. He could never
do it again. In the middle of the 70ies he stopped trying and just did his own
music, deconstructing pop and rock. In the 80ies he quit music at all and went
dish-washing in New Orleans. There he found new musical companions and came
back with a stripped down raunchy soul. In the 90ies and 2000er he sometimes
mimed the crooner, becoming more and more relaxed. In 2010 he probably died as
a happy man, who never finished his house in Memphis. To stand this tour de
force we prepare a hefty and nutiricious american/british breakfast – one of my
favourites.
