Description
Phosgene was a colorless, chemically reactive, highly toxic gas used in World War 1, and was reported to be responsible for 80 percent of all the chemically caused deaths in the war. What made it lethal? It caused severe damage to the lings, literally taking the breath away!
The comparison to the warfare of our heart is this - Satan tries to disconnect us from the breath of the Spirit of God in our lives. If he can succeed in taking our breath away, we will simply operate from our flesh, which leads to the life of offense, blame, and accusation, ultimately rendering the Church ineffective and powerless. We must fight back!
