A man named Dr. Robert Lanza says death doesn't exist based on his theory of biocentrism and interpretations of quantum physics, which suggest that consciousness is central to reality. This perspective is also shared by philosophers like Alan Watts and is echoed in Epicurean thought, which argues that death is nothing to us because our consciousness ends with it.

Biocentrism and quantum physics

Consciousness creates reality: Lanza's biocentrism is the idea that the universe is a product of our consciousness, and not the other way around.

Death as a transition: If consciousness is central, then death is not the end of existence but a transition. In this view, life may continue in a new dimension or reality beyond our current understanding of space and time.

Many-worlds interpretation: This interpretation of quantum mechanics suggests that every possible outcome of a quantum event occurs, creating a vast multiverse. In this context, death in one universe would mean the continuation of that individual in another, making death ultimately non-existent across all realities.

Philosophical perspectives

Alan Watts: This philosopher explored the idea of nonexistence as a necessary consequence of what we call "being," suggesting a cyclic nature to existence.

Epicureanism: This school of thought famously stated that "death is nothing to us," because when we exist, death is not, and when death exists, we are not.

Other perspectives

Simulation theory: Some theories, like the one proposed by computer scientist RZswan Furk, suggest that if the universe is a simulation, then death might be a transition to a different "level" within the simulation or a form of reset.

Bruce Van Natta had a near-death experience after a workplace accident. He was suddenly out of his body watching the scene after the accident down below. He traveled back and forth from his body to the other side, during which he ascended through a tunnel bringing him to Jesus.
