In Genesis 23, Abraham’s decision to buy a burial site for Sarah wasn’t just about securing a resting place—it was a bold act of faith. It was the first piece of the promised land that he actually owned, even though the full promise was still far off. This passage challenges us to consider how we step forward in faith, even when we can’t see the bigger picture. Are we willing to trust God’s promises enough to invest in them, even when the fulfillment is still out of sight?
