Description

Good morning, phew after my ad free tier of sleep Ran out I was faced with an even worse time because it is spring forward daylight savings, losing me a whole hour. Last time, we uncovered how capitalism might infiltrate our literal dreams. This week, we’re tackling something equally absurd yet somehow realer than it should be: Daylight Savings Time.

You know it, you hate it, and yet, twice a year, we all just go along with it. Lose an hour. Gain an hour. Pretend like it makes sense. But what if instead of tweaking the clocks by a measly 60 minutes, we really committed? What if Daylight Savings got an upgrade?

Tragic and Pill are here to push the boundaries of time itself. What if every six months, time shifted randomly? One day, you wake up and it's 4 PM instead of 9 AM. Maybe your birthday moves. Maybe your work shift starts before yesterday even ended. What would it do to society? To productivity? To human sanity?

Would CEOs find a way to monetize temporal confusion? Would “time arbitrage” become the new stock market hustle? Would we all finally break free from corporate schedules and embrace a more natural, chaotic way of living? Or would society crumble under the weight of a never-ending jet lag apocalypse?

The only thing certain in this episode? Time is fake, and we should make it weirder.
