Description

When a Tennessee resident is murdered in her bedroom, investigators struggle to find answers with little evidence at the scene to link any possible suspects to the crime. Could it have been a burglary gone bad? Or, something else? Andrea Canning reports. Originally aired on NBC on April 20, 2018.

I have issues with this case. The fact that he hadn't been in her house in months and supposedly managed to kill her without leaving any DNA behind, but there were two strange men's DNA on the clothing she was found in...there just wasn't enough evidence to convict. There is enough reasonable doubt that two men broke in, didn't realize she was home, killed her, and said forget the tv they can trace it to us. However, for this man to say that he shouldn't even have been a suspect is ridiculous. Statistics tell a different story: According to a study published in Gynecology & Obstretics Medical Journal, 40% of pregnant women who die, die at the hands of the unborn babies' father (the others die in accidents or due to medical/health issues). It wasn't a rush to judgment to suspect him. He was also arrogant in thinking he didn't need a lawyer. You always need a lawyer. Two people don't get lawyers: people with a false belief in the system, and people who think they're smarter than the cops. I think he falls into the second group. I completely buy the motive, but I need the DNA evidence that points to a burglary explained to me. Find those guys, get there whereabouts at the time of the crime, and then we can talk. That breaks my heart for the family of the victim...but, I know I wouldn't want an innocent person in jail for the murder of my loved one because that's not justice either.

more proof that you always need a lawyer when talking to terrorists in uniforms. saying I don't need a lawyer cuz I'm innocent just shows ignorance you need a lawyer anytime you talk to those clowns

I feel for the victims family but if there is limited evidence, why do you want a possibly innocent man to get convicted and call it all justice?
