A spirited second half performance wasn't enough to overturn a two-goal deficit against Chelsea, meaning our run of three consecutive wins at Stamford Bridge came to end. On another day, a point could've been a fair result, but our miserable record away from home continues.
We were afforded a chance to bounce back in midweek against Newcastle in the League Cup quarterfinal, but a much-changed Brentford XI were comprehensively beaten by a Magpies side who we comprehensively beat a week before... how did that happen?
